4 in every 10 Kenyans of working age unemployed

The 2017 Human Development Index recently released by UNDP shows that Kenya has the highest unemployment rates in E.Africa, with 4 out of every 10 employable adults out of jobs. This poses a unique dilemma- as the job market shrinks universities continue to churn out graduates every year. Overall the informal sector continues to employ more than the formal sector.
